Terms of Service
Last updated: July 21, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to the Kordi website, desktop application, Kordi-operated hosted services, and related features (together, the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Services
Kordi is an AI-native collaboration workspace for people and their agents. Features may include accounts, contacts, direct and group conversations, synchronized history, hosted agent execution, files, tools, and artifacts.
Some features are offered in beta and may change, be limited, or be removed as the product develops.
2. Accounts and access
You are responsible for providing accurate account information, protecting your credentials, and all activity performed through your account. Notify us promptly if you believe your account or credentials have been compromised.
You may not access another person’s account or attempt to bypass limits, safeguards, or access controls.
3. Acceptable use
You may not use the Services to violate law or the rights of others; distribute malware; interfere with service availability; gain unauthorized access; evade security controls; or generate, store, or share content you do not have the right to use.
4. Your content and agents
You retain your rights in messages, prompts, files, and other content you provide. You grant Kordi the limited permission needed to host, transmit, process, and display that content solely to operate and improve the Services.
You are responsible for the instructions, tools, credentials, and permissions you give an agent, and for reviewing agent output before relying on it. AI output can be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for a particular purpose.
5. Self-hosted software
Use and distribution of Kordi’s open-source code are governed by the license included in the Kordi repository. These Terms govern Kordi-operated Services and do not replace applicable open-source or third-party software licenses.
If you operate a self-hosted deployment, you are responsible for its security, configuration, users, data, infrastructure, and legal compliance.
6. Third-party services
Kordi may connect to model providers, developer tools, hosting services, or other third-party products. Your use of those products is governed by their own terms, and Kordi is not responsible for third-party services outside our control.
7. Availability and changes
We work to keep Kordi useful and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may update, suspend, or discontinue features and may introduce limits when needed for security, reliability, or product development.
8. Suspension and termination
We may restrict or terminate access when we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated, the Services or others are at risk, or the law requires it. You may stop using the Services at any time.
9. Disclaimers and liability
The Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. Kordi disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kordi Lab will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from use of the Services.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as Kordi develops. The current version will be published here with a revised “Last updated” date. Continuing to use the Services after updated Terms take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
